Becker County Title Services, Inc. has adopted a privacy policy to protect your nonpublic personal information. This policy is intended to inform you how the information we collect from you will be used, shared and protected.

1) Types of nonpublic personal information we collect.
In the course of providing our services to you we will need to collect from you a variety of information that is private, nonpublic information. In addition to your full name and address, we will need to obtain telephone numbers and other contact information, social security numbers, tax identification numbers and perhaps other financial information such as account numbers. All of this information is provided to us by you, or obtained by us with your authorization.
2) Parties to whom we disclose information.
For current and former customers we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained from you or with your authorization to any nonaffiliated business except as required or permitted by law or as required to complete our services to you. For example, your name, address, phone number and social security numbers need to be included on several forms that we are required to disclose to governmental agencies in order to complete the transaction. We may need to disclose your information to other financial institutions, appraisers or attorneys in order to complete the transaction. We may disclose information to our affiliated business, Consolidated Abstract Company, Inc. This business partners with us in providing services to you to assist with successfully completing your transaction.
3) Protecting the confidentiality and security of current and former customers information.
We retain records relating to the services we provide to you so that we are better able to assist you in the future, and to insure that we can address any concerns that you may have in the future. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that prevent your information from being disclosed beyond what is necessary to complete our services to you and we require our affiliates to have the same safeguards in place to ensure that the information you provide to us is not disclosed beyond what the law requires.
